I just followed the wiki article dapper -> edgy -> feisty on upgrading my Ubuntu distribution from Dapper Drake to Feisty Fawn.
The apache2 apt-get package seems to have changed, though. The script apache2-ssl-certificate is no longer bundled with the apache2 package.
% sudo apache2-ssl-certificate sudo: apache2-ssl-certificate: command not found
This looks like a bug in the lastest releases of Ubuntu (and Debian Etch, as well). See: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apache2/+bug/77675
So you can no longer generate the link by using the apache2-ssl-certificate command. Now you will have to do it the manual way. See: http://www.modssl.org/docs/2.8/ssl_faq.html#ToC28
I’m not sure if this has also changed in Edgy Eft. Beware!
I’ve always done it the manual way, so I didn’t miss the missing script. A very clear walkthrough is available here: https://help.ubuntu.com/7.04/server/C/httpd.html
Another work around can be found in the comments from the bug report here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apache2/+bug/77675/comments/47
